Had a really hard time leaving the comforts of a blanket this morning, come to find out it was because it was 5 degrees outside. I felt like I could have hibernated for a few days instead of starting the day. Alas I had to force myself up and rush though the morning meal to make it to the gym on time. Finding new inspiration in the fact that when my wife and i did our measurements for a new diet we are going to try, it seems my arms grew significantly in the last year. So I decided to put my triceps through the wringer, a muscle I hardly ever dedicate one day to. Feels like it worked, and here is what happened:
Standing double arm tricep dumbbell extension: 60lbs x 15, 70lbs x 15, 80lbs x 15, 90lbs x 15, 100lbs x 15, 90lbs x 20, 80lbs x 20, 70lbs x 15, 60lbs x 15(pyramid, to failure on the way back down the pyramid)
Tricep kick back kettle bell: 10lbs x 20, 10lbs x 20, 10lbs x 20, 10lbs x 15
Tricep extension cable pull down: 30lbs x 30, 42.5lbs x 20, 50lbs x 15, 57.5lbs x 15, 65lbs x 10, 25lbs x 30
Dips current weight 250: 7 @ 0 assist, 20 @ 100lbs, 10 @ 70lbs, 8 @ 50lbs
Single arm standing tricep extension(dumbbell): 20lbs x 10, 15lbs x 15, 10lbs(kettlebell) x 25, 10lbs(kb) x 20, 15lbs x 13
Body weight bench dips(feet on ground, knees at 90 degree bend): 15, 20, 20, 15
By the end of the 70 minutes of pure tricep mayhem, they felt as if they had dissolved into nothingness. I would say the mission was a success haha. Snapped a quick shot mid workout for the fun of it.
Stay ripped my friends. Lift responsibly.
